Why run to Hardee's® for biscuits when you can prepare hardy biscuits right in the convenience of your home, with very few ingredients needed, at probably half the time it would take you to drive to Hardee's® and a fraction of the cost? Ingredients needed: 2 cups of self-rising flour, 1/3 cup of shortening, 3/4 cup of milk Preparations as follows: Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Lightly flour a baking board. In a mixing bowl, cut the shortening into the flour with a fork, until crumbly, and add milk. Form a dough into a ball. Place dough onto a lightly floured board and knead 5 or 6 times. Roll out dough with a rolling pin until 1/2 inch thick. Cut dough into circles with round cookie cutter, Place onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees until golden brown, approximately 15-20 minutes. Enjoy
