Mom's Honey Maid Graham Cracker Pudding Pie

This Honey Maid Graham Cracker Pudding Pie was a favorite dessert for my family. As a coal mining family with many siblings, during tough times, this dessert was an inexpensive way for my mother to make a treat that would accommodate the wants of everyone. Ingredients needed: 2-3 sticks of melted butter or margarine ( depending upon the size of pie ), 2 to 3 packs of crushed ( Honey Maid ) graham crackers ( again depending upon the size of pie ), 2 cups of sugar, 2 boxes of vanilla or banana JELL-O Pudding. Cook & Serve Pudding & Pie Filling, milk for pudding mix, 1 bunch of bananas. Preparations as follows: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Crush graham crackers until fine. Mix together with sugar and melted butter. Use half of this mixture for the bottom of the pie, spreading it into a large 9x9 inch cake pan. Cook pudding as per directions on the box. Transfer cooked pudding from stove top to cake pan. Slice bananas onto top of pudding. Cover bananas with remaining graham cracker mixture. Place into oven and bake at 350 degrees until crust is slightly browned. Enjoy.
