This hot dog chili is a must have for picnics and summer barbecues. It requires very few ingredients, and very little effort on the cook's part. Ingredients needed: 3 lbs of ground beef, 1 tsp. of salt ( or more depending on your tastes for salt ), 1 tsp. of pepper ( once again depending upon your individual tastes for pepper ), 9 tsp. of chili powder ( 3 tsp. per every 1 lb. of ground beef ), Water ( enough to cover your ground beef in a large cooking pot ), 1 or 2 tsp. of yellow mustard ( optional ). Preparations as follows: Add beef and water in a large pot on stove, until beef is fully submerged, add seasonings, and stir. Bring all ingredients to a boil, reduce heat, cover and boil gently for 1 hour. Remove excess grease. Serve hot with hot dogs. Any leftover chili can be frozen for later use. Enjoy.
