Summer time means a lot of fresh fruits and berries, which for myself means a lot of fresh baked pies. Hence I'm adding this pie crust recipe. Ingredients Needed: 1 Egg, 1 tsp. of vinegar, 1/2 cup of cold Water, 1 Tbs. sugar, 2 tsp. of salt, 4 cups of flour, 1 3/4 cups of shortening ( Crisco® being my choice. Preparations as follows: Preparations as follows: Mix together, flour, sugar and salt. Cut in the shortening. In a bowl add vinegar, cold water and egg, stir with fork till well blended. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix together with large spoon. Divide into 4 balls, refrigerate for 15 minutes. Remove one ball at a time and roll into flat circle to fit pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees ( or depending upon your favorite pie recipe), until golden brown.
