Just Wingette Tailgate Fun
Hot wings and tailgate parties! Does it get any better than that? Ingredients needed: 1 pound of chicken wings ( separated at the joints into wingettes and drumettes. ), oil for frying, 1/2 cup hot sauce of choice ( my favorite being Tabasco brand ), 1/4 cup of packed brown sugar, salt and pepper to taste, 1 cup of butter or margarine. Preparations as follows: In a medium sized saucepan over a low heat, heat butter brown sugar and hot sauce until butter and sugar melts; simmer on stove top to keep warm. Salt and Pepper the chicken. Heat oil in deep fryer to 375 degrees. Deep-fry chicken, 8 10 pieces at a time for 10 minutes rotating pieces once or twice while frying. Drain chicken and allow to cool for a few minutes. After cooling, place chicken pieces into warm sauce, being sure to thoroughly coat each piece. Removed from sauce and serve hot or cold. Enjoy.
