The greatest thing about this recipe is that while the corn is cooking in the crock, you can be preparing a main dish at the same time, so dinner will be ready altogether. Clean up is super easy.
Ingredients:
4 to 6 ears of corn
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoon butter
Garlic salt to taste (Optional)
Ground black pepper(Optional)
Other spices of your choice (chili powder, basil, thyme et cetera)
Directions:
Place corn in slow cooker and pour in 1/2 cup water. Place a small chunk of butter onto each corn. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook on high for 2 to 3 hours or on low for 5 to 6 hours, until the corn is bright yellow and tender. Use a pair of tongs to transfer the corn onto a plate. Season with spices of your choice and more butter, if using. Serve warm. Enjoy!
